25 Million Reasons to Dream Big

We committed $6.25 billion to invest $250 in the Trump Accounts of 25 million children across America. This week, that commitment becomes a reality.

By the end of this week, almost 25 million children across America will have an investment of their own.

Last December, we made a commitment: $6.25 billion to put $250 into the Trump Accounts of 25 million children across America.

As of today, over 10 million of those children have $250 invested in their accounts. Millions more will by the end of the week.

Twenty-five million is a big number. But behind it are 25 million kids, each with their own hopes for the future. Their letters have brought that home to us.

Over the past month, we’ve heard from children who want to be engineers, nurses, doctors, and teachers, and entrepreneurs who want to start businesses of their own. Parents have written, too, telling us what it means to know that something is already invested in their child’s future.

Starting early gives an investment time to grow. Families can add to it. A child can watch it change over the years and begin to understand what it means to save, invest, and own something themselves.

That’s a big part of what interested us about Trump Accounts. Kids don’t just learn about investing. They become investors. They grow up with something of their own, invested in their future — and with years ahead to watch it grow.

It’s a financial head start. But we hope it becomes something more: a reason for kids to think bigger about their future, and to have more confidence in what they can do.

If you have a child, access their Trump Account with them. Show them what’s there. Talk about it and watch it grow together. Because $250 is only the beginning.

Because the smartest investment we can make is not in what comes next. The smartest investment we can make is in who comes next.

Our children are our future.

To America’s children: This is for you. We believe in you. And we hope you dream big.
